Knowle West Alliance offers Small Grants to Knowle West-based residents, community groups, organisations or schools for projects that benefit the local community. Since 2019, our Small Grants programme has gone from strength to strength! It’s hard to believe that in that time we’ve awarded over a hundred Small Grants to individuals, groups and organisations based in Knowle West to support local community projects.
We’ve also been part of the process which offered larger grants for Safer Friendlier Neighbourhoods and to support local High Streets.
Follow KWA on Facebook for updates for updates on small grants opportunties.
Small grants up to £500
Do you have an idea that can make a difference to our area? Our Small Grants are available to local individuals, groups, organisations and schools who want to make Knowle West:
- A safer, friendlier place
- A greener, cleaner place
- A healthier, active place
- A creative place
You can be creative within these topics.
Knowle West Alliance offers Small Grants for projects that benefit the local community. Our Grants Panel (made up of local residents and workers) decide which projects are funded. The Panel meets 4 times a year. Get in touch if you would like to volunteer on the panel grants@kwalliance.co.uk
We aim to offer grants regularly, however this is dependent on funding. Our panel meet within a week of the closing date for small grants applications. They make a decision and we aim to award grants as soon as we can after the decision is make (usually 1 or 2 weeks).
*** Please do not start work on your project until your grant application has been agreed. We cannot fund work that is already done ***
